Come learn how to use Arduino microcontrollers!
This class is for beginners, intermediate or advanced users. Each week we will focus on a particular use case such as a particular sensor, controlling a motor, or controlling a switch. We will cover how to flash your program to an arduino, alter code of the program, and use the GPIO (general purpose in/out) pins on the controller for beginners.
We will have a few arduino boards to use, but if you have one you can bring, we recommend it. Although we will also have computers available, we also recommend bringing your laptop if you have one. If you bring your own device and computer you will be more easily able to continue creating your projects at home.

Arduino is an open-source platform for electronics projects. Arduino microcontrollers come in a variety of sizes and shapes and can be used to control a variety of things from robots and 3D printers to garage door openers and IOT projects. Some Arduino variations include built in WiFi, bluetooth and other networking interfaces. Other variations must be programmed via USB. You can learn more on the Arduino wikipedia page.
